The sharpening of knives  which started when Murthi was just 10 years old have continued to this date and now it has been 41 years of sharpening.

With the help of a bicycle rim and a nylon thread connected to a grinding wheel he has sharpened numerous amount of knives, scissor and blades.

His heavy work load is divided among two other supporters as well.

" We were work from 7.30 in the morning to 6.00 in the evening and earn around Rs.1200 to Rs.1400 a day.We spend the life without big problems or happiness", Murthi said sharing his experience with us.

The sparkling grinding wheel seems to have sharpened the lives of these people along with the knives.
