Meanwhile, the secretary of Law and Order ministry - Mahinda Balasuriya has bypassed the IGP and summoned all policers officers above the rank of ASP to Colombo, 'Lanka E News' reports.

During a meeting held at the ministry of Law and Order yesterday at 2.00pm, Balasuriya has given these police officers an illegal set of instructions.

At the meeting, the police officers have been ordered that not a single cutouts of the President, solo or group, should be removed, regardless of the reason.
