The programme director has requested the UPFA for party representative for the programme and accordingly, Dayasiri was initially informed to take part.

However, the UPFA had later informed Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage to take part.

In the end, both had turned up for the show, with Dayasiri travelling from Kurunegala.

However, several attempts made by Dayasiri to join the programme had ended in vain, reports say.
