Ports minister Arjuna Ranatunga is unhappy over the Ports Authority being removed as a partner under the new agreement for the Colombo port city project.

The megapolis development ministry, UDA and a Chinese company are the partners in the project.

Ranatunga has not joined the present visit by the prime minister to China as originally planned.

He has boycotted the tour as a show of protest against his ministry from being removed as a partner of the project, lankacnews reports.
