The suspect, Nimal Peiris, is said to be a businessman.
The magistrate ordered to arrest the suspect after considering his request for anticipatory bail.
Peiris is said to be a close aide of IGP - Pujith Jayasundara.
Chandimal Gamage, the owner and head lecturer of the residential course centre in Hantana, Kandy, where the abuse had taken place, had been produced before Kandy magistrate on August 04. Subsequently, he was ordered to be held in remand custody until Aug. 11.
