Expanding from sale of cameras to associated professional and consumer accessories, CameraLK now has its very own Service Centre and CameraLK Academy, conducting workshops, and training for photography enthusiasts.

On July 8th 2016, CameraLK hosted its second consecutive “CameraLK Awards Ceremony’ honouring its students, faculty and industry outstanding achievers. The gala event was held at the BMICH, Colombo with Hon. Minister Gayantha Karunathilake - Minister of parliament Reforms and Mass Media and Hon. Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka - Minister of Mega police and Western Development attending as special Guests. The evening was not only about cameras and photography; there was also musical entertainment and performances.

Speaking at the event, Director Mr. Anushka Gunasinghe emphasized the focus of developing and advancing the photography field in Sri Lanka, recognizing the importance of enabling the future generations to appreciate and practice the art of photography. Guests at the Awards ceremony described CameraLK as providing the opportunity for those who wish to improve their knowledge and skill of the art of photography.
