Parties with vested interests have spread rumours that the audio carried by Sri Lanka Mirror in an article titled ‘Irida Divaina editor apologises to JVP, slams Wimal’ does not have the voice of ‘Irida Divaina’ editor Anura Solomons.
SLM stresses with full responsibility that the audio in question has Solomons’ voice, and is ready to submit the telephone no. used by him for the conversation.
The JVP says that ‘Irida Divaina’ should be punished for having published falsehoods against them, a party spokesman told SLM.
