The content of the report will be revealed by the Speaker this evening.
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya adjourned Parliament until today and called for a report from the Deputy Speaker and the Deputy Chairman of Committees in connection with the tense situation which had occurred yesterday at the Parliament.
He also informed Parliament that suitable action would be instigated against the MPs involved in the incident.
Lose MP position
Meanwhile, addressing a media briefing today in Colombo the Treasurer of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Minister S.B Dissanayake stated that if disciplinary action was taken against the SLFP MPs who were involved in the attack, they might be removed from their positions as members of parliament.
He also stated that the party has the right to take disciplinary actions against who behaved violently inside the parliament.
