The meeting will take a decision with regard to the SLFP members who took part in the joint opposition May Day rally at Kirulapone, he says.

It was improper for them to attend another rally, when the party had its official event in Galle.

Addressing the Galle rally, party leader, president Maithripala Sirsiena said the SLFP should be cleansed if it was to form a government.

The foundation towards that end has been laid, he said.
