She had come to Sri Lanka to join the cast of 'Sinha Machan Charlie' directed by Lal Weerasinghe.

During her visit, she was much involved in religious activities.

Among one religious sites she had visited was the Kelaniya Temple, which is said to be a place where she visited frequently when she was young.
