Everjobs had already successfully launched its first operations in Myanmar with work.com.mm. This job portal rapidly became the number one in the country and triggered further expansion of the business model into other fast growing economies.

'In Sri Lanka, Everjobs is launching its website everjobs.lk with more than 1,000 job listings. The company aims to become the leading job portal here and in other countries to follow,' the Rocket Internet website states.

Ronald Schuurs, the Rocket executive who is now taking the classifieds site into Sri Lanka along with executive Theo Poursanidis said, “We see an immense opportunity to create a convenient job portal for economies on the rise in Asia and Africa.
