SLFP will be doomed if contests on its own – Mahinda Featured

The SLFP will be doomed if it leaves other parties in the UPFA and contests the upcoming local government elections on its own, says former president, MP Mahinda Rajapaksa.

He was speaking at a public meeting at Ridiyagama in Ambalantota yesterday (04).

Rajapaksa said that as a patron of the SLFP, he is faced with a dilemma, as some want him to resign from the party, while others insist he remains.

By today, he said, he has become the common enemy of both the SLFP and the UNP.
