Nine suspects are currently in custody in connection with the murder.

The CID informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate that they were awaiting Attorney General’s direction on filing charges on the remaining suspects.

The case is to be taken up again on Nov. 17.

Nadarajah Raviraj was shot and killed in the Rajagiriya at the age of 44 on November 10, 2006.
