Gayathri Wickramasinghe is the secretary of the SLC Marketing division head - Vajira Dasanayake.

The minister has popped up the question when he met secretary of the SLC Interim committee - Prakash Schaffter and Treasurer - Nuski Mohomed yesterday (30).

The minister has quizzed the SLC officials as to why such an individual causing inconvenience to the SLC was being retained.

However, 'Sri Lanka Mirror' learns that Nuski Mohomad had praised Gayathri in front of the minister.

According to sources, we learn that Nuski is involved in certain corrupt activities within the SLC and that Gayathri is aware of his involvement. Hence, Nuski had been praising Gayathri, sources add.
