This will be the 8th consecutive awards ceremony by Sri Lanka Cricket to honour the cricketers and the 4th successive time it has been sponsored by Dialog Axiata PLC.

International field of Test cricket, ODI and T20 as well as the main domestic tournaments such as Premier League Tournament, Premier Limited Overs Tournament, Emerging Cricket Tournament, Sara Trophy, Donovon and Andree Tournament, Under 23 tournament and Women’s Domestic Competition will be the main categories which the awards will be given.

A total of 65 awards will be given away for the excellent performances throughout 2015.

Once again, the public will vote for the coveted ‘Dialog People’s Player of the Year’ award.

They can simply type DPP<space>Player’s name and SMS to 2343 from any network to vote for their favourite cricketer or log on to www.cricketawards.online to send their votes.

Voting will be open to the public from 12.00 noon onwards on the 24th of August to 12.00 midnight on the 20th of September.
