Woman visits 7 wonders after cancer diagnosis Featured

One woman has taken her string of bad luck and turned it into an adventure. In one month, Megan Sullivan got hit by a car, was diagnosed with skin cancer, and fell 50 feet while climbing at Yosemite. So, after her "trifecta of bad luck” she decided to see all Seven Wonders of the World in just 13 days.

“After the worst month of my life, I started to rethink how I was living my life,” she wrote in a post on Bored Panda. “Two weeks later, I decided to see the Seven New Wonders of the World in just 13 days with a new outlook on life: to live more now."

Sullivan ended up visiting 12 countries and traveled a total 28,211 miles in less than two weeks for what she dubbed the 7 Wonders of the World project. Her first stop was Chichen Itza, followed by Machu Picchu, Cristo Redentor, the Colosseum, Petra, the Taj Mahal, and the Great Wall of China. What's more, Sullivan completed the trip with her boyfriend of just two weeks.

She’s shared her journey on her personal website as well as her Instagram and YouTube pages, posting stunning pictures and video from her travels.
