This was confirmed to ‘Sri Lanka Mirror’ by Dr. Nirmal Ranjith Dewasiri.
“We’ve received a few suggestions on this regard and this is being done on the consent of the lecturer,” he said.
“Although there wasn’t any obstruction within the university system on this, no experimenting had taken place either. But now the opportunity is open. It would be a novel approach to democratise education,” he added.
He further said that the public would be informed of the public lecture schedule soon after the course commences.
