Hulk returning in 'Thor: Ragnarok'

Hulk returning in 'Thor: Ragnarok'

Thor's final chapter might be going green.

According to a report from JoBlo, Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner and alter ego the Hulk will have a supporting role in the sequel to 2013's "Thor: The Dark World."

This would be the first time Ruffalo has appeared in a Marvel property apart from the wildly successful "Avengers" franchise (not counting his cameo in "Iron Man 3").

Ruffalo, who recently disguised himself as Nintendo character Luigi at New York's Comic Con, will reportedly join Tom Hiddleston and Jaimie Alexander in "Thor: Ragnarok," which finds Chris Hemsworth's titular character fighting to prevent the coming apocalypse.

Audiences last saw Banner in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" after he commandeered a Quinjet leaving his super-friends until his return in "Avengers: Infinity War: Part 1." No word on how scorned lover Black Widow feels about this announcement.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is slated for a November 2017 release.
