The film which surprised many with its tight screenplay, interesting characters (Bob Biswas, anyone?) and one helluva climactic twist, had its sequel’s shoot beginning from March 2016! The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh himself.

Vidya Balan will again play the female protagonist in this one as well, though we are not sure if she is reprising her old role.

Arjun Rampal will be joining her in an unspecified role. Again, we don’t know the details of what he is playing in the film, but one thing we are sure is that film involves some amount of action.Otherwise what would explain Arjun’s injury on the sets of the film?

The actor has injured his leg, and is on complete bedrest.

He has posted about the injury on his Twitter timeline, “Busted my knee today,while filming a chase sequence. Finished the shoot.Now in agony.But then #nopainnogain #kahaani2″.

Arjun Rampal was last seen in the disastrous 2015 film Roy, along with Jacqueline Fernandez and Ranbir Kapoor in a special appearance. He will also be seen in another sequel, Rock On 2.
